Burger Debate: Updated winner!

Filed under: Burger Debate by Courtenay

This burger is so good, it deserves its own post. Daily Dish in Grassland blew me away today. Disclosure: they are a client of mine, but that has nothing to do with the quality of burger. Trust me, I don’t mix business with cheeseburger pleasure.

So, I totally planned a client meeting during lunch so I could have an excuse to eat yet another  burger. Like I really need an excuse, but it sounds good, okay? The owner and chef, Sean, happily headed to the kitchen and hand made the patty and threw it on the grill. I stuck my head (and flip cam)  in the kitchen and checked it out. The huge burger looked fabulous on the grill, but when he brought it out to me, topped with caramelized onions, mushrooms and Havarti cheese, I did a little burger dance! I should also clarify that I have actually split some of my burgers during previous debates, as to reduce my calorie intake and eaten the other half at a later time. I couldn’t stop myself from eating this one. In its entirety. Without even hesitating. Once. The veggies on the side made up for it though, right?

Great toasted bun, simple and fresh toppings, perfectly cooked and amazing. Score on Courtenay’s SOY: Absolute burger perfection.
